Which return rules apply?
Bought from a private seller
There is no statutory right of withdrawal for purchases from a private seller. A private seller may voluntarily offer returns.
Defective or incorrect item
For defective or incorrect items, the seller pays necessary return costs where required by law.
How to return a purchase
- 1Open your order and request a return within the applicable period. A statutory withdrawal needs no reason and no prepaid return label.
- 2After the request is reviewed, you receive the verified return address and the seller’s instructions. Those instructions cannot limit statutory rights.
- 3Pack the jewellery securely. Choose a carrier that insures this specific item for its full value; keep proof of dispatch and add tracking to your order.
- 4ONEJWL tracks the return and refund. Statutory refund deadlines apply to a withdrawal; return shipping is not automatically deducted from the refund.
Who pays return shipping?
For an ordinary withdrawal, the buyer generally pays direct return shipping costs to their chosen carrier if this was disclosed before purchase. For a defective or incorrect item, the seller pays necessary return costs where required by law. The tiers below are estimates; actual insured shipping costs may differ.

You may exercise a statutory withdrawal right without prepaying for a label. Return shipping is not automatically deducted from the refund. Buyers pay their chosen carrier directly.
Administrative, handling or restocking fees must not be included in return postage. Buyers need not use a proposed label if a suitable insured alternative is available.
Before shipping, check that insurance covers the actual jewellery and its full purchase value. A general parcel limit does not prove jewellery cover.
