1. Buyer pays through Stripe
ONEJWL relies only on the payment status and amount confirmed directly by Stripe and its secure webhook.
Marketplace payments · jewellers
The buyer pays securely through Stripe Checkout. The same protection then applies to every professional sale: payout remains blocked for at least 30 days after confirmed receipt and occurs only in a monthly run without a return, claim, dispute or other block.
The shared safety route
ONEJWL relies only on the payment status and amount confirmed directly by Stripe and its secure webhook.
The seller receives nothing yet. The order, insured shipping and delivery must first be verifiably correct.
The carrier, tracking, insurance proof and, where needed, a signature are linked to the order.
The fixed 30-day waiting period for a professional seller starts only after confirmed receipt.
Buyer confirmation does not shorten this period. A return, dispute or chargeback stops release immediately.
After 30 days, a released amount enters the next monthly payout run.
One Stripe payout model
The jeweller completes Stripe onboarding for a connected seller account. Stripe checks the business, representative and payout details. Payout is possible only when Stripe transfers and payouts are active.
The buyer payment is first processed on the ONEJWL platform. Only after full order release does ONEJWL transfer the seller amount and shipping reimbursement through Stripe to the verified Stripe Connect account.
Example calculation
This example uses the current ONEJWL rates and €20.00 insured shipping. Stripe transaction costs and taxes may be handled separately.
Buyer pays total
€1,114.00
Product, buyer protection and shipping.
Jeweller after selling fees
€886.26
Excluding the shipping reimbursement received.
Route to jeweller
€906.26
After receipt + 30 days + monthly run, without blocks.
ONEJWL revenue
€207.74
Buyer and seller fees combined; provider costs may follow separately.
Example timeline
Receipt confirmed on 10 October → 30 days end on 9 November → with a monthly run on the first business day, an unblocked sale enters the next available run. A return report before release stops this immediately.
Return and refund
A parcel may return incorrectly, damaged or containing another product. Shipping, delivery, product and refund are therefore each confirmed separately.
If the jeweller reports a different or potentially inauthentic product, refund controls are removed from the normal route. ONEJWL first investigates the evidence; refund and seller payout remain blocked.
Why this Stripe model?
The buyer payment is processed through Stripe Checkout on the ONEJWL platform. After the safety conditions, ONEJWL creates a separate Stripe transfer to the connected seller account. This lets ONEJWL delay, block or reassess the transfer while a return, claim, refund or Stripe dispute is active. ONEJWL fees remain on the platform because only the net seller amount plus shipping reimbursement is transferred.
Payment amount, currency and destination come from the stored order and are checked against Stripe again before transfer.
Returning to the website is not proof of payment. ONEJWL processes payment, refund and Stripe disputes based on Stripe-signed events.
The transfer is created only for a verified Connect account with active transfers, after all periods and checks are complete.
Complete Stripe Connect verification before selling live. Without a verified Stripe account with active transfers and payouts, ONEJWL cannot transfer sale proceeds.
